From Emotions to Art: The Power of Creative Inspiration
As creatives, we are constantly being inspired and bursting with ideas. A lightbulb turns on in our minds and we just can't stop thinking about all the possibilities. Sometimes, we come up with amazing ideas and sometimes they're not so great. It’s a steady cycle of stimulation going on in our creative minds.

I believe that a lot of our inspiration as creatives comes from our emotions. We create to connect and evoke feelings. Musicians, for example, make music that they hope will resonate with their listeners and make them feel something. A slower, more mellow song might evoke feelings of sadness or introspection, while an upbeat rhythm might get us up out of our seats.

Visual artists also use different techniques to create emotional experiences for their viewers. They consider things like color, contrast, and texture to stir up certain feelings or moods. The color red makes us want to buy, which is why you can never leave Target empty-handed.

Emotional motivation is all around us, and as creatives, we're lucky enough to be able to tap into it and use it to create.
So today, I want you to consider where you get your creative inspiration from and how you connect with your audience through your art?
When Joel and I sat down to design our visual vibe and colors, we immediately logged on to Pinterest. Personally, I found a lot of inspiration from furniture. Maximalist furniture to be specific. My vision with Mas is to make our publication feel like a warm comfy hug, a safe place for all creatives who go overlooked in mainstream media.

As I looked at all the different colors and shapes in the furniture, I felt a sense of comfort and belonging. It was as if I had walked into a room filled with unique elements that somehow worked together flawlessly.
